Pet FAQs
I have heard that pet clothing is cruel, is this true?
It depends on the animal. Every pet will need to go through a period of training in which they become acclimated to the article. Start with small increments of time and reward them constantly through the process. If your dog just looks plain miserable or uncomfortable though don’t torture him.
Is food from a specialty store really better for my pets?
Yes. If you look at the ingredients listed on grocery store food you will have a hard time finding quality ingredients. Look for foods that have a named source of meat for the first ingredient (like chicken or lamb) avoid foods with animal by-products (these can be nasty things like euthanized cats and dogs). Also if corn meal or wheat is one of the first three ingredients then the food has more filler in it than there needs to be.
Does my pet need nutritional supplements?
In most cases your pet will get what he needs from his food, as long as it is appropriate for his age. Regular checkups with your vet will clue you in if there needs to be any additional supplements added to the diet.
