Cat Carrier

Cats don’t travel as easily as dogs do. Cats often become nervous in cars and will hide under seats or in other undesired places like under the gas and brake pedals. A cat carrier will help the cat to remain calm and prevents the cat from becoming a danger.

Cat carrier should be big enough for the cat to stand up and turn around. Don’t buy a carrier that is too big, if you give a cat too much room in the carrier they will have a place to spray or defecate- which sometimes happens with nervous cats.

A small dog carrier can also double as a cat carrier. It’s best that the carrier has not been used by another animal as this can cause spraying as well. If the carrier has been used by another animal make sure it has been thoroughly washed and dried before the cat is placed inside.
