Weimaraner owners??? |
Do you own a Weimaraner? More than one? Are they inside or outside dogs? What do you like best about this particular breed? Is there anything that a first time Weimaraner owner should know? Weims are only happy when they are with you they do not make good outdoor dogs(not saying they can't spend sometime outdoors) Weimaraners have a low tolerence for boredom. Over the 30 years I've owned them I have lost numerous items when they got bored and I wasn't paying attention. If you want a loving constant companion who is smart and devoted to you they are the right breed. If you want the cute dog in Wegman commercials not the right dog. Weimaraners need obedience training and a lot of exercise, love and attention. We right now have great grandma(14), grandma(9) and grand aunt(9) and great grandson( 1 year) we show obedience conformation and hunt tests so they are very active 2 go to work every day with my husband(kennel and Doggie day care) two prefer the quiet of the house and backyard and stay home well, what you need to know about weims are they are the BEST breed in the world.
