Weimaraner?????????

Does anybody else have a weimaraner in the world!!? Eveybody I tell about my weimaraner is like " What is that??"
Please any body!!

Whats their name?(if you have one)

I have a 14 month old Weimaraner and her name is Gracie. She is the most amazing dog I have ever had!!! She is truly like a person. She is very sensitive and attentive. She is still a very exuberant puppy at times, but she is housebroken and doesn't get into too much trouble. ( She has chewed a few things, but we keep lots of chew toys around for her so she doesn't get bored.) I take her outside to run for about 30 minutes EVERY DAY. I also takeher with me when I go anywhere. People always say...."BEAUTIFUL DOG!"

There are some folks in my town who have one. She is the mascot for their sporting goods store. Lovely dogs.

Our family had a male a few years ago. He was a very smart dog and a great pet. They are easy to train and are very friendly. We named him Billy.

YES.. ours is named DIVOT

A kid in my kid's 4-H club has one. They are hounds. Hunting dogs. Very friendly, and very pretty. But like all hounds, a real pain to train. Hounds do what they want. Getting them to stay, or come when called, is very difficult. Can be leary of strangers. Pretty good sized, and strong. Need room to run, and plenty of exercise.

Maybe you should purchase a book of William Wegman's artwork to show people. Most people have seen that at some time.

I used to babysit for a family with a Weinaranner. They are great dogs for the right owner.

I had one but he was put to sleep after he was diagnosed with a severe infestation of heartworms his name was Boomer
