No Sphynx Cat in Singapore?

I could not find any Sphynx breeder here in Singapore, and it makes me wonder. I am keen on getting myself this breed, and will probably bring one from Australia. What i am wondering about - why is there no breeder here? Is the cat suited to the living condition here in Singapore? Is it legal to have one here?

The temperature and everything seems ideal in Singapore for one of those, but cat breeders..... I've only been able to fins a Ragdoll breeder and a Persian breeder, so I'm out of luck too. Rather bring one over. You may find that there are breeders in Malaysia or closer by, that might help, perhaps mainland China, but not here in Singapore. Perhaps try the classifieds before going to that expense, I remember seeing one of two Sphynx cats here in Singapore, although they'd probably be imports themselves.
The island simply does not have enough cat breeders, although when you look at the amount of strays, I can understand why.....
