Ocicat/Savannah/Bengal? |
I have a cat that I found (as a kitten) by a creek. He is orange/cinnamon in colour with spots, and stripes on his legs and tail. He also has a straight nose (vet said a Pharoh nose). My little guy isn't so little, he is heavy (muscle) and larger than an average cat. Also, his hind legs are longer and he walks with a little arch in his back (stealth-like). He loves to play in water, is very active (hunter-like), very intelligent, inquisitive and does not meow like regular cats. His meow sounds like a baby, his own language. Hi there again..your lovely boy would be considered a Domestic Short Hair (DSH) Orange tabby. Some tabbies can be larger than the typical tabbies as well. DSH tabbies have a variety of breed backgrounds that love water, not only Bengals and Savannahs. All of the cross-bred species you referred to require specific breeding techniques that are not a natural occurance in the wild. All of those specialized breeds will be approx 1 and a half times the size of a normal cat-The savannah is bred with a serval. The most sought after savannah is an F-1(1st generation) and sell for 2,000.00 + dollars. |
