Where can I find events for "dogs" in Dubai, UAE?

Hey I'm from Dubai, UAE.
The fastest improving city in the world.
Since it's part of a 35 year old country.. There are still many things missing!

Dogs (Saluki being exceptional) is not part of our culture. So, almost all dogs are imports .. and most of them are foreigners.. as a UAE citizen I wanted to know where can I find events for dogs other than the (Dubai Pedigree & Whiskas show)? Maybe there are places where you can take dogs to? Please suggest.
