Hungry tadpoles??!?? |
Hi, just wondering about feeding my tadpoles. I know that when they're young you can use lettuce and fish flakes, but is there anything else?? What about when they're older? I've heard about feeding them blood worms when they're older, is there any other foods for when they're older, maybe something not as gross as live bloood worms, can you get them allready dead? if so, where..?...just a pet shop, maybe?? tadpoles will eat algae and green vegetation until the loose their tails and complete their metamorphism into frogs, this is when they need to be able to get out of the water and on to some sort of dry rock, they then start to eat mosquito larvae or fruit flys or you can get live food from pet shops that you just put in and let the frog eat at will you can get live blood worm they are only small but will do you no harm. wel i use to have piranhas and i fed them DEAD bloodworms....i didn't know u can get them alive...........petsmart, petco |
