Is my tarantula supposed to pulsate when moulting? |
At the moment it's lying on it's back very still, no movement. Is this supposed to happen? It's a chilean rose if this helps *Yes it is molting do not pick it up or anything just leave it. This is how they shed their old skin. Once it comes out it will stay on it's back for awhile soon it will flop itself back over then take the old skin out. Make sure you have some water in the cage. Yup, its a good sign, no worries about that. Its the tarantula trying to slip out of its old skin. Nothing to worry about. Hope this helps. Him pulsating and him lying on his back is a good thing, dont worry about him! |
