Female Ragdoll Cats?

I have 2 feamle ragdoll cats and one male tabby cat. The ragdolls whenever you say there name/touch them/look at them/pick them up they meow not in a put me down way because there lap cats but its just like they like hearing themselves.

the tabby and previous male cats have never meowed so much.

The ragdolls were given to me when they were 6 and 9 weeks old the tabby was at 12.

anyone know why they are so noisy?

Wow you were given the ragdolls! Thats great, I want one so bad. I think that they just like to talk to you. My cat talks to me every now and then. At least I like to believe that is them talking to me. Haha

Certain cats just like to meow a lot. Like you said, they just like hearing their voice. Other cats are just shy. There is nothing wrong with that.

female and male cats/kittens, meow alot when their going through heat (mating season), when their meowing all there doing is calling for a mate, getting them dexxed might be a good idea if you do not want kittens:) x

Even though Ragdolls are supposed to be non-vocal, my male is also very vocal. He rarely shuts up. It's just an individual thing. In my experience though, female cats of any breed tend to be more vocal than males.

i think seeing as they are female cats they might be in season i have a ragdoll female kitten and she seems to be in season most of the time, she meows when ever i pick her up or when im walking around. Also does your kittens stick their bum in th eair while meowing if so then they are defo in season
