Anybody have a RAGDOLL cat or know about them?

I have a 6month ragdoll kitten and I heard that ragdoll cats usually go into heat around a year old....is that true are they "late bloomers" so to speak and also i've also read they tend to be a little big. mine is pushing 7 pounds. normal?

I don't know about them going into heat, but they definitely are larger cats. Very sweet, too.

ragdolls are BIG cats, usually around 13-14 pounds once fullgrown. Very affectionate and playful.
all my cats are spayed/neutered so I don't anything about breeding cats but I do hope you will get your cat fixed, it eliminates many health problems and helps stop pet overpopulation
