Why are ragdoll cats?

It has a lot to do with their temperment...The breed of cats determens that too.. Siamese cats often have bad tempers and only get along with one person....Ragdolls are docile like yours. They are even tempered and make a great companion. He will most definatly keep his temperment as he gets older...
My tabby cat's temperment is the same...but I beleive it was how I raised her... I was kind and gentle with her as a kitten... I also taught her to play "gently"... So you may also be an awsome pet owner who got your cat from a loving environment...

My Raggie is almost a year old now and is still really floppy. When he was a baby it worried me because if I dropped him he wouldn't try to catch himself. I've learned not to drop him... LOL

its jusgt in there geans to be that way they are very lazy and the best kinda cathave have with babys and todlers becuz when they pick them up they dont fight it just become limp like a ragdoll. thats kinda how they got there name. yes your kitten will be like that when he gest older just as lazy as everlol
