Inflammatory bowel disease in ocicat? |
I have a 13yo. Ocicat that has a genetic inflammatory bowel. Does anyone with experience dealing with this in your cat. What did you do, what foods do you feed, is it under control. I would appreciate your feedback. Hi My most recommended foods to try in any IBD kitty are Hill's i/d, z/d and d/d. I usually get success with one of those, and if not, add in a low dose of prednisone. IBD is nasty, and difficult to get control of, but keep trying. I have never had a cat with this problem. As a raw feeder I have heard many comments from people going that route that IBD can change the whole situation even overnight! |
