Dog Vs Human ( Mastiff Power)? |
OK so me and my friend are arguing lol about this, i was wanting an honest correct proven answer. My English mastiff is 3 years old and weighs 247 pounds, and my bull mastiff weighs 132 pounds. If they were provoked or if i felt threated would they be able to hold a person to the ground. Like pin him to the ground and hold him. My friend weighs 218 pounds, lol. But i read that mastiffs were used to fight against people and other animals. And bull mastiff were bred to over power and knock a human to the ground them hold them there until there master got there. Is this true? Would they be able to protect me and pin him to the ground. THANKS I'm not gonna try that, lol. Thats why i asked. Ive been telling him for a while now that my dog could out power and pin him to the ground. And his reply to that is NO ANIMAL CAN BRING ME DOWN I DON'T CARE HOW BIG IT IS, IVE NEVER LOST A FIGHT. And i say if my mastiffs are around i dare you to make a swing because that will be Ur first loss then. Your friend should be very careful- I have two English mastiffs, a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old (rescue, so he is small) and a 2 yr old neo, and if these dogs want to take somebody down, they can do it, no matter how big or strong that somebody is. Heck, some days they drop ME to the floor just with their noxious GAS alone! Other days, I get drowned in slobber, get bashed knees from the tail wagging, and get broken toes from being stepped on. Not to mention the neo thinks he was born to sit on laps and does not like to be turned down! 'Nuff said! hell yeah! if your dogs wanted to they could kill both of you i most definately think that a mastiff could take a person down and hold him no matter how big the person. and yes, mastiffs were bred to do this. Absolutely. I have a German Shepherd that is about 120 pounds and she can hold a grown man to the ground and not let him up until I tell her to. It makes my elderly mother feel a lot safer when she is home alone. A dog that size can definately be trained to hold a person down and pin them. I would suggest you find a dog trainer in your area and discuss with them what kind of training you want. When checking into trainers make sure they have experience with Mastiffs. Good luck! Yes. You aren't actually going to try it are you? A dog that routinely knocks people to the ground can become a dangerous dog. I hope you never have to find that out for real, protecting you yes they can. Your friend, if the dogs know him probably not, unless he was really hurting you. They can smell you fear and his aggression. A real foe would not stand a chance, no matter how big or how much he weighs. A 60lb. German Shepard can tackle a person ad hold them for the police. Your big guys would also. Hell yea. Dogs are decendents of wolves. Wolve are specialized at pinning theyre prey down and so are dogs. The first thing a dog does when attacking is bite at your feet until you fall down then they pin you. dog are so kool ;D absolutly! a mastiff could kill a human easily! espicially just pinning him to the ground |
