Your mastiff may have too much energy that he needs to get rid of, take your dog on walks also. I have a bullmastiff who used to do that. ...that's cute ...how long does it usually take for humans to become civilised? guess you know the answer. and NO, ur pet is NOT RETARDED, but u also fail to see that it is equally ur fault as well. ur pup is on... It is absolutely normal, as he is going though the rebellious teenager phase.. Keep consistent, and give him more challenges, such as competition obedience training..
