Maltese....? |
What is the best age to have a maltese neutered? Mine is 8 months old. Also, has anyone ever had their maltese neutered? How did they act afterwards.....tired, scared? Were they the same as before the procedure? Thanks for all of your help!!! My mom had my maltese neutered. He did change a little. I think the procedure kind of messed up his 'pride' or whatever. He's still hyper, but he flinches a lot, like he's scared or a coward or something. He's not as dominant, but he's still agressive...neutering your dog might change him and he could become a coward -- but he'll still be friendly. That's what happened to my dog and my friend's. i had my maltese spayed when she was 7 months old, she was throwing up after the procedure she was tired and wasn't as hyperactive as before the procedure. I would not neutered it because they do not act the same. They are scared all the time. I have 4 and i neutered them all and that is how they act. It wount hert them at all if you don't. We bread poodles and we don't neutere them. I hope this helps:) I have had only 1 dog that seemed a little different after being neutered but he was older. 7-9 months anywhere in this range |
