Maltese puppy question.-Maltese owners please help? |
I have been researching the breed (maltese)for almost 1 year and have nearly read every website with information on malteses ie.Breed standards, tempermant ect.. you call and talk to them see how it goes then go check out the puppy and the owners home and other dogs if you can. You find the reputable breeders, call them and go from there. You visit, you ask questions, you answer questions. find a reputable breeder, go there, check out the home where the dogs live etc Yeah, I love maltesers....I nibble the chocolate off first... When you find a breeder ask for a couple people they have sold dogs to for reference on how their dogs turned out. You should always ask the breeder to see the parents of the puppies. I thought i bought a Maltese puppy, but as my puppy grew I realized he had to be mixed with bichon or another type of dog because he weighs 18lbs and is a large small dog. You can always ask a couple of vets for reputable breeders. Firstly, don't buy one which isn't KC Registered. I would suggest going here www.crazywomenkennels.com thats where i got mine! |
