Maltese Help?

I'm getting a female maltese puppy three days - my family and I cant wait! I have a few questions, though.
1) I will be taking my dog to a groomer every month to be clipped (i'm keeping her hair short). In that time I will be giving her baths. How often should i bathe her?
2) After the first week of having her, she will be kept at home for about eight hours. She has the whole kitchen to herself, which is rather big. She is fed before we leave, right when i come home, and before we go to bed. Is this OK? She will be about 11 weeks old. (Everything in the kitchen is puppy-proofed)
3) She will be paper-trained, but we will move the pad closer and closer to the door. My family and I are thinking that by that time, it will be cold outside, and we've learned that Maltese can not take severe cold weather, so when it's really cold, go to the bathroom indoors. But in the warmer seasons, she'll do her buisness outside. Will this confuse her?
4) Opinions for her name: Daisy, Holly, or Chloe?

First of all, congrats on your new puppy. I also have a Maltese, and it is my favorite breed.
To answer you questions:
1)It depends on where you will keep her and how often you will take her outside. I keep my Maltese's hair short and she is in the house at all time and I bathe her once every 7~10 days. After taking her outside for a walk, I just wash her feet.
2)Maltese needs a lot of attention, especially when they are still puppies. Maltese is also prone to panic attacks when left alone. They might chew their feet or do something bad when they have a panic attack. Your puppy is too young to be left alone for 8hrs. I suggest you hire a sitter or bring her with you. Start by leaving her only a short period of time and prolong the time slowly, allowing her to get use to it and know that you will be back.
3)How cold will it get? My Maltese goes outside to go potty while snowing and she is OK with it. She runs right back into the house after she is done. Also, you can put some covering on the floor outside, so the puppy won't have to walk in the snow.

1) you should bathe ur maltese every seven days and brush it before and after her bath.
2)if u are paper-training her then she should be ok. usually puppies should not have a very big space when they are not properly potty trianed so dont be surprise if u come home with puppy poop and pee in ur kitchen. also take her outside to relieve herself before leaving.
3) my advise would be dont confuse your puppy by letting her go to the washroom inside when all along shes been doing it outside. when the warm season comes she will not kno wat to do all ur potty trainng work of going out side will be undone. its true that Maltese dont have a high tolerance to cold weather so get her a dog coat and shoes and continue to take her outside to relieve herself. with a coat and shoes she will be find also dont stop taking her for walks in the winter.
4) i think the name chloe is cute
