My keeshond Pants All the time is this normal? |
Background on the dog: We just adopted her. She is 10 years old, but very healthy. She runs, jumps and plays like any other dog. Just she is panting all the time no matter what she is doing. take her to the vet. My neighbors Keeshound lived for I believe 18 years. just make sure she has a place to cool off. All that fur is good for insulation and keeping cool, just make sure she does a cool down before going inside. i am not a 100% sure but most breeds have their own problems because what they are bred with. e.g labradoor normally bad legs. Panting at her age could indicate heart problems. Take her to a vet and have her given an "old age check" by the vet. |
