Anyone own a Keeshond? If so, what is its name & how long have you had it?

I have a gorgeous 8-yr-old Keesh named Misty & she thinks she is a person NOT a dog! She is also very possessive & protective of us.

I have been blessed to own a total of 6 Keeshonds over the years (The most at one time being 3!) and I loved every one of them. Keeshonds really are an amazing breed. Here are their names:
1. Heidi
2.Keesh (Full name: Sir Keeshman)
3. Missy
4. Sasha
5. Toro
6. Lacey (named for her habit of eating our shoe laces).

I am only 22, but I know once I have a home with a big fenced in yard there will be plenty more keeshonds to come. There are plenty of older keeshonds who need a home so I recommend all fans of this breed search their local rescue organizations.

I don't have a dog but I'm best buddies with my next door neighbours dog at work. His name is Mr.Woo and he is very clever. Once he stole someone's shopping bag when they left it down in the supermarket!!!!

I'd love to have my own dog though but I can hardly look after myself!
