Hwy do keeshond dogs become more aggressive when they get older?

My puppy just turned 2 months and now he's bitting evertime someone tries to pet him. Even people we introduce him to, before he would smell their hand, lick them and let them pet him. Now he just bites! He bites toes, fingers, pants whatever he can get to. Not saying that he didn't bite before but it was more like teething. Half the time I don't want to go near him because he attacks.

Did you let him bite before when he was teething without retribution? When my sister's Spitz Klein (related to the Keeshond) was growing up, we always used to let him bite our fingers, but when he got older, it really hurt! So we started discipline him really hard, and, luckily, he stopped. This sounds more serious, though. Are you spanking him every time he bites you? Mean as it sounds, it's the only way to do things so that he learns you're in charge. Spitzes have a lot of problems with knowing who's in charge - that is, they always think THEY are. If he doesn't respect you as his master, he will bite you to "Keep you in your place".
We had another dog, but he was so badly behaved we had to get a dog behaviourist in to help us with him, and she told me that any bad behaviour they show gets five times worse as they grow up, so I suggest taking your dog to some discipline classes and nipping this in the bud ASAP. Good luck.

when the puppy goes to bite say eh! and that will get his attention and he will stop
also possible is to grab his hing legs by the joint like a bite. do it quick. it is like a wolf (a close relative of a dog) mom tells her pups no
never use your dogs name in punishmant however because the dog will associate itts name with punishment

lol! hes a puppy! puppys do that. you got to train him don't smack him if he bites because he'll probably turn around and bite you! next time he bites go A -AH. make sure you do it short and sharp. if people go in your house and the dog comes tell the people to stand still arms folded.

oh ya and get him toys

hope this helps. good luck

He's just a puppy---they all do that. He's not being aggressive--just playful. To stop it, however, hold his snout and firmly say "no bite!" Have fun with him! They grow up so fast!
