Has anyone ever took care of a Keeshond puppy? I might be getting one.?

Not of my own, but the horse trainer I worked for use to have them. They are great little dogs. Friendly, loving and great with kids. Her male was stand-offish with strangers, but warmed up eventually. Her female had a strange bond with a pony. Strange only because she choose the pony over the other dogs or people there. I also didn't know they were born nearly white until her litter was born. Her's also rarely barked, maybe because they had been so well socialized, but I know (now) that is not always the case!

no different than any other puppy except people continutally pronounce the name wrong!!
its a HOND not a HOUND!

proper socialization is key - as with all spitx breeds - make sure you take it to puppy obedience
