well it dependes why you want females 1 yr or older ??? Some quick cash on breeding? Go to the breeder get a puppy and take care of it. You will have an idea what it feels like to take care of one ... I love ibizan hounds! they ARE cute! ...Prey drive and being a sighthound. The have a high prey drive and will chase and potentially kill smaller animals. Also, they are sighthounds and that needs Special care. ALWAYS on a leash... They aren't "rare" - uncommon would be more accurate. I was just at a dog show this weekend & saw several Ibizan hounds. I have a Collie friend who has one. I live in Florida ...
