How do you find a dressage girth to fit your horse??

My horse is a 48 in my saddle, but i just got a dressage saddle and I want to buy the right girth. What size dressage girth should i get if my horse is a 48?

My mare takes a 48" girth for my close contact - and I believe a 26" for her dressage saddle. Try a 24" or a 26" - it needs to be a bit bigger if it has fleece, but if you are using a synthetic, it can be a bit smaller.

im not really in to dressage that much but isnt finding girths the same no matter if you do dressage or jumping well the way i fing my girthis i put on a saddle with no girth theni get the tape mesure and measure form the bottom tip of the girth leathers then what ever size it is i add a few inches and then i get the new girth

i dont really know. we take our horses to the saddlery to get them fitted up proporly, maybe you could do this too.
