Havanese????

I have looked them up online, and found alot of info, but I was wondering if anyone on here has had one or anything, and could give me some info =] thanks

I don't know why you can't find info. I found dozens of sources with a simple search.

hi i have heard that haveneses are friendly energetic dogs and are good with kids

we used to have one. she was really nice but only to my dad. i guess they are "one-person" dogs. so theyre super nice to one person they choose. the problem with her was that she liked my dad. and she would be really depressed whever he wasnt home and that was hard cause he has a full time job! and then when he gets home she practically sticks to him! they also have really coarse fur. it would be good if you are living by yourself and dont have to worry about it picking one person in your family.

when she died i was looking into getting another dog that looked similar because i think theyre so pretty but had a different attitude. so we searched around and i found that the two top dogs i liked best were malteses and shih-tzus which both look like the havanese. malteses are only white though and they have runny eyes. shih tzus are good but my parents didnt want to get a purebred dog because theyre more likeley to have health issues than a mixed or "designer" dog. so we looked in the newspaper and we found a family who was selling shih-tese (which is a maltese and a shihtzu) puppies. so we looked into them and ended up getting one. and shes the best ever. since they are "designer" dogs theyre harder to come across. so look into newspaper adds. they have nice dogs for reasonable prices and if your looking for a dog that looks like the havanese try looking into malteses or shih tzus. good luck gettin your doggy =]

I have a 3 month male. He is so cute. There very good with kids. I have a 4 year old and he follows her everywhere. In less then 2 weeks I potty trained him, there very smart. The ONLY bad thing about them is the price. But I heard so many good things about them and there so cute I had to have one. I'm so glad I got him. There good with other dogs, I have a 7 month Golden retriever and they get along very well. There well worth the money.

If you want a dog that will make you smile every time you look at it even when your in a bad mood, or someone to cuddle with. And loves EVERYONE This is the dog....Good luck.
