Anyone out there have a Havanese?

I have a 7 month old Havanese puppy and I could not love her any more than I do. Please tell me if you have a Havanese and what you think about the breed.

I'd never heard of the breed until I read your question. I checked the AKC standards and took a look at some breeder websites. All I can say is:

What adorable little dogs! They're apparently hypoallergenic, very smart, and can do several different kinds of work. And unless I miss my guess, they have personality to spare. ;-)

I have a 2 yr old male Havanese and he is great.Non destructive ,easy to housebreak.He loves people and great with kids.I wasn't sure about getting a small dog after having a large dog for 15 years.He may be small but is not yappy or delicate.13 lbs of fun. Report It

I have a 7 yr old Havanese, she is incredible! They are so easy to train and will do anything to entertain their owners. One word of caution, you do have to brush them daily, or let them chord (something like dreads). Report It

I do not have one, but they are BEAUTIFUL Dogs!!!

I have had all kinds of dog breeds and let me tell you, my Havanese was one of my favorite of my favorites. I dont got her no more but I love the breed. They are so cute!
