Cat vomit on weird ikea leather couch! Help!? |
we have an ikea leather couch, the cushion DO NOT remove and it is like material inside the cushions if that makes any scence . Visibly it is leather but b/c the cushion do not remove imagine it being like half material on the inside. So the cat vomited at night and the vomit leacked in there and through the couch! We cleaned it but didnt realize it leacked through or in the cracks! What can we do?? it smells bad! You will need to use an enzyme cleaner like Em Clean which has been tested and is safe to use on leather.This will help on the interiors as well but it is always difficult if you canot get to the insides. Reading your queation again it sounds as though you have a vinyl sofa and not leather, however if it is leather vinegar is an acid and may have damaged the finish on the leather.
