Are Canaan dogs good dogs? They are pretty easily trainable, but like with any dog, training starts right away. They quicker they know the rules, the more eager they will be to please! Now these are spitz-type dogs and normally have pretty high energy levels. I wouldnt reccomend them for apartment living, but if you have a fenced in back yard, you should be ok. It really depends on your living habits to determine if this is the right dog for you. I'm not sure on character but they are PRETTY. FOr some people. The reason there are SO MANY dog breeds is because SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE wants a dog with its' characteristics. i would suggest researching it and seeing if it will mesh with your lifestyle. good to eat..yeah dogs suck.. they can be. they are very strong powerful dogs. and need to be in the hands of experienced owners. they are not for the common person who wants a cool, tough looking dog. they are not a dog for the first time owner or an owner that wants to put very little work into training and socialization. |

dogs have no concept of how long they should live. They only know quality of life, not quantity.
