okay, my dog is a 9 year old mix breed (part Canaan). Lately, she has had excessive panting even when it's not that hot. She also has a history of chronic diarrhea but lately it seems we can't do anything to make it stop. We altered her diet for a few days, and it went away and then came back. She hardly drinks any water. I don't know if we're giving her too much exercise, cause lately she gets really slow on walks. I'm trying to figure out if all these things are a combined sign of something else. Has she been in contact with any other dogs (who might not be up to date on their shots)? What food is she on?
Is she on a heartworm preventative? Is she up to date on shots? It sounds like you need to visit the vet & have him run some tests. She might have heart problems. TAKE HER TO A VET call your vet as it can be a number of different problems. |
