Is my Greta a Belgian Sheepdog?

Check my 360掳.

I think she is 5 or 6 months old. (She doesn't have all her premolars, yet.)

It is hot here in central Texas so keep in mind this is her summer coat.

And any tips for raising her (if she is a Belgian Shepherd) would be appreciated.

We have bonded strongly. She's now my baby & I am gah gah over her!

Although I dont think she is a pure bred Belgian, I do think she has Belgian Shepdog in her background. Go to bsca.info This is our National Belgian Sheepdog club website. You can get breed info about personalities, training, structure, etc.
BTW - Laurie - Belgian Sheepdog heads are not narrow like a collies. They are actually about 2 times the width of a collie and look more like a German SHepherd head. Their coats can be as big as a collies, or shorter, kind of like a long coat shepherd. .

She does look as though she has quite a lot of Belgian Shepherd in her.As far as tips on raising her, just do what you would with any dog - training, spay, vaccinations, etc. She looks very healthy, her coat is nice and glossy and her eyes are bright. She's a pretty girl!
I think you are wrong on her age, though,as in the photo,I can see that she has her adult canines, which means that she is over 6 months and ready for spay surgery,if you haven't already done so.

No, Don't think it is, they are more narrow headed , more like a collie head, and the ears stand straight up. I would say lab/shep mix myself. I live in south texas too, and groom 2 pure bred belgium sheepdogs, they don't look like that.

she looks ALOT like a dog I used to have.. a purebred black longhaired german shepherd!

either breed is possible

She doesn't look to be a Belgian to me, although she's a beautiful girl anyway! She could have some in there, but not enough that I'd call her a Belgian. She seems lovely... enjoy her!

If she trots in circles (especially while on a leash), she probably is a belgian or has belgian in her. They have a tendance of doing that.

If she is a belgian, make sure you socialise her a lot as they can become overly protective and you probably don't want her attacking or growling at guests - well, not the welcome ones anyway ^_^
