Basenji and pug mix....please help?

I have a loveable and adorable pug and basenji mix. he is aprx 15weeks old. his major problem was housebreaking and chewing on things. we have all that taken care of now. we just had him neutered and he has become increasingly aggressive. i have taken him to a trainer and guess what. no positive outcome...what should i do?

You should check him for a thyroid disorder!

Basenjis have that problem sometimes. It's somewhat common within the breed.

Also, basenjis can be aggressive too, but without knowing the circumstances of his aggression, it is very hard to give you advice on correcting his behavior.

Please post a picture. Does your pugenji have more of a basenji or a pug appearance? No doubt your dog has a beautiful doubly curled up tail. Does he yodel or bark? Report It
