Is there such a dog as a"Miniature Afghan hound" ?

I lost my best friend and companion a few years' ago, he was a rat terrier/poodle, I have always admired afghan hounds, but, they're too big for my lifestyle, ever hear, see, know of miniature ones? If so, where to get. ( permenantly small would do)

a pedigree afghan hound only comes in one size. a small one would probably not be healthy or not an of aghan hound. pappillon's have silky hair like the afghan but are small, there are many small breeds. whippets are small and sleek. why not check the local pound for mixed breeds too. after all that's what your best friend was. good luck.

Have you looked into a Borzoi?

They aren't as big, but similar. Still a bit large if you are looking for a small breed dog.
